The Fira de Bagoin returns to Verucchio ready to celebrate one of the territory's best-loved traditions. Born in the shadow of the Rocca Malatestiana and now hosted in Piazza Europa in Villa Verucchio, the event is dedicated to the pig, symbol of the local peasant culture, and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

The event takes place over three days, from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 February, with traditional "live" processing, preparation and sale of meat and sausages, barbecues in the heated maxi-tent, and convivial moments recalling ancient family customs.

The rich programme includes a music preview, typical lunches and dinners, concerts, DJ sets, children's workshops, a crackling competition, live music and radio entertainment. Also new is the Trekking de Bagoin, a medium-easy 10 km route through nature and tradition.
